ASL-Proficient DHH Teacher – Immediate Start (Seattle, WA)
Location: Seattle, WA area
Dates: Immediate Start – June 17, 2026
Schedule: Full-Time | 37.5 Hours/Week | Monday–Friday | Onsite
Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to support students across the Seattle, WA area. This is a rewarding opportunity to serve students with hearing loss by providing high-quality education and communication access in an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
What You’ll Be Doing

Provide direct and indirect services to students who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have limited hearing
-
Deliver instruction that incorporates American Sign Language (ASL) and other communication modalities
-
Manage a caseload of 15–18 students, depending on placement

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Collaborate with general education teachers, interpreters, families, and related service providers
-
Support academic and communication development to ensure equitable access to education
Required Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Deaf Education or related field (required)

Active WA State Department of Education Certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (required)

ASL proficiency (required)

Strong collaboration and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams

Experience creating and implementing specialized instruction for students with hearing loss
