Position Type: Full-Time | Onsite
School Year: 2025–2026

We are seeking a qualified DHH Specialist to serve a caseload of 15–18 students. This full-time, onsite position involves working closely with students who are deaf, going deaf, or have limited hearing, providing individualized support in educational settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct services and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing

  • Facilitate communication through ASL and ensure full access to curriculum and instruction

  • Collaborate with general and special education staff to implement accommodations and modifications

  • Support development and delivery of IEP goals related to hearing needs

  • Conduct assessments and maintain documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Deaf Education or related field

  • Active Washington State DHH Certification

  • Active Washington State DOE Certification

  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)

  • Experience working with deaf and hard of hearing students in educational settings
