We are seeking a qualified DHH Specialist to serve a caseload of 15–18 students. This full-time, onsite position involves working closely with students who are deaf, going deaf, or have limited hearing, providing individualized support in educational settings.
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct services and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing

Facilitate communication through ASL and ensure full access to curriculum and instruction

Collaborate with general and special education staff to implement accommodations and modifications

Support development and delivery of IEP goals related to hearing needs

Conduct assessments and maintain documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
Required Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Deaf Education or related field

Active Washington State DHH Certification
-
Active Washington State DOE Certification
-
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)

Experience working with deaf and hard of hearing students in educational settings
