DHH (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) Teacher Role Available

Blazer Jobs is seeking a full-time Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to provide specialized instruction and support to students in a school district near Smithfield, North Carolina.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect instruction to DHH students.
- Adapt curriculum and classroom strategies to meet individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with educators, speech-language pathologists, and parents to create a supportive learning environment.
- Utilize assistive listening devices, ASL, and other communication techniques to enhance student learning.
Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina teaching certification with a DHH endorsement.
- Minimum one year of experience working with DHH students.
- Knowledge of IEP development and accommodations.
