About VocoVision:
VocoVision is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to provide remote support to K-12 students in Sterling Heights, Michigan. In this role, you will help students develop communication skills, access the curriculum, and achieve their academic goals—all in a fully virtual environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Deliver virtual instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.

Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and support staff to ensure students receive comprehensive support.

Track student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.

Participate in virtual IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and interventions.

Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Michigan educational standards.
Requirements:

Master’s degree in Special Education, DHH, or a related field.

Valid Michigan teaching license with DHH endorsement.

Experience teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing (virtual experience preferred).

Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting.

Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace.
