Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a dedicated Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to support students in a school district located in Tacoma, WA.
Position Details:

Full-time, onsite role
-
Itinerant position serving students across multiple school sites

Provide direct instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing in various educational settings
-
Caseload information will be provided during the district interview
Requirements:

Must hold a valid Washington State Teaching Certificate with an endorsement in Deaf Education or Hearing Impairments
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or a related field from an accredited program
-
Knowledge of assistive listening technology, auditory/oral and total communication methods, and individualized education planning
-
Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and administrators
-
Prior school-based experience supporting students with hearing impairments preferred
