Job Title: Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (D/HH)
Location: Terryville, Connecticut
Type: Part time; 25 Hours/week
Caseload: K-12
Start/End Dates: August 28, 2025 to June 10, 2026
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and staff.
- Develop and implement personalized education plans.
- Conduct assessments and identify children with potential hearing loss.
Qualifications:
- Valid Connecticut teaching license with Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement.
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English.
Pay: Competitive starting at $40 per hour.
