School based Teacher of The Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for a full-time, school-based position in Wilmington, DE for the upcoming school year. We are looking for passionate professionals committed to supporting students with hearing impairments and fostering an inclusive educational environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
• Itinerant position around 20-30 students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Utilize assistive technology and adaptive communication methods as needed.
• Monitor and assess student progress, making necessary instructional adjustments.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field.
• Valid certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education.
• Experience in a school-based setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
