Location: Woodland, CA
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 35–40 hours per week
Contract Dates: August 2025 – June 2026 (2025–2026 School Year)
Caseload: TBD based on district needs
Blazer Jobs is seeking a certified Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TODHH) for a full-time, school-based role in Woodland, CA. This position is ideal for a compassionate educator dedicated to supporting the academic and functional needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction and support in academic and functional communication areas, tailored to individual student needs

Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement instructional goals and methods in accordance with district and IEP requirements

Regularly communicate with parents and team members to exchange updates and support strategies
-
Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement using formal and informal tools
-
Prepare for and actively participate in IEP and team meetings related to student programming and services
Requirements:

Valid California certification as a Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing or equivalent credential

Experience working in school or educational settings preferred

Strong understanding of sign language, auditory-oral strategies, and specialized instructional methods for students with hearing loss

Ability to work collaboratively and maintain consistent documentation
