Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (IL TDHH) license required
- Experience working with elementary-aged children who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Ability to deliver both direct instructional support and consultative services to students and staff
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support tailored to students with hearing impairments
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and related service providers to optimize student success
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Provide consultative services to educators regarding communication strategies and accommodations
