School-Based Sign Language Interpreter Job Wayne, WV
Sunbelt is seeking a school-based Sign Language Interpreter Job in Wayne, WV area. This is a full-time position for this school year. 

Job Qualifications: 

• Valid certification or authorization as an Educational Interpreter

• Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English.

• Completion of an interpreter training program or equivalent experience in educational interpreting.

• Knowledge of Deaf culture and the communication needs of Deaf and hard-of-hearing students.

• Provide interpreting services (ASL/English) to facilitate communication between Deaf/hard-of-hearing students and hearing individuals in educational settings.

• Interpret classroom instruction, discussions, assemblies, and other school-related activities.

• Collaborate with educators and service providers to support student access and participation.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional interpreting ethics and guidelines.

• Full-time.
