Remote DHH Teacher - Albuquerque, NM

Position Details Full or Part time remote role dedicated to individualized DHH education services. You'll serve students across all educational levels while managing comprehensive responsibilities through our advanced virtual learning system.

Student Services & Programming

• Primary language development and literacy (K-2)
• Elementary academic skill building (3-5)
• Middle school transition support (6-8)
• Secondary academic and life skills (9-12)
• Students with diverse hearing needs
• Students utilizing various communication methods and assistive devices

Professional Duties

• IEP planning, implementation, and monitoring
• Virtual classroom instruction and curriculum modification
• Communication skill development across modalities
• Behavior intervention planning and support
• Assessment administration and progress reporting
• Collaborative team consultation
• Family partnership and communication
• State and federal compliance maintenance

Credential Requirements

• Master's degree in Deaf Education or Special Education
• Valid New Mexico DHH teaching certification
• Minimum 2 years of school-based DHH experience
• Fluency in American Sign Language preferred
• Remote instruction experience highly desirable
• Strong technology proficiency and adaptability
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
