DHH Teaching Professional - Remote Education - Albuquerque, NM

Role Overview This remote position focuses on delivering specialized DHH instruction and support services to students with hearing impairments across diverse educational settings. You'll work within our state-of-the-art virtual learning platform to provide individualized instruction.
Service Areas
- Communication development and enhancement
- Academic skill reinforcement and support
- Assistive technology training and implementation
- Social-emotional learning facilitation
- Transition planning and life skills development
- Family education and support services
Professional Duties
- Create and implement comprehensive IEPs
- Deliver engaging virtual DHH instruction
- Conduct communication assessments and evaluations
- Collaborate with educational teams and families
- Provide consultation to general education teachers
- Document student progress and maintain records
- Support inclusive education initiatives
Qualification Requirements
- Master's degree in DHH Education or equivalent
- Active New Mexico DHH teaching certification
- Two years minimum DHH teaching experience
- Proficiency in American Sign Language
- Strong virtual teaching capabilities
- Excellent communication and technology skills
