A full-time opportunity is available for a specialized educator skilled in supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students within a K-12 setting. The contract runs from early January to early June, providing services to a diverse caseload of 35 students aged infancy through 22 years old. This role requires onsite presence with itinerant responsibilities in Riverside, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction and early intervention services to infants and students up to 22 years old.
  • Conduct consultations and actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 35 students, ensuring tailored educational approaches.
  • Collaborate with program support staff to optimize student outcomes.
  • Utilize expertise in IFSP and early intervention to support developmental milestones.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Education Specialist Instruction Credential with Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Authorization.
  • Proven experience working with infants and understanding of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP).
  • Demonstrated ability to provide specialized services across a wide age range.
