Position Summary:
We are actively seeking a passionate and qualified Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to serve students in the Annapolis, MD area for the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time position is ideal for an educator who is experienced in delivering specialized instruction to students with hearing impairments in both mainstream and self-contained educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction and support to students with hearing impairments

Adapt curriculum and modify instructional strategies to meet individual needs

Collaborate with general education teachers, interpreters, audiologists, and other service providers

Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs

Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

Facilitate communication between students, families, and school personnel

Promote an inclusive and accessible learning environment
Requirements:

Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field

Valid Maryland teaching certification with Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement

Prior experience in school-based settings strongly preferred

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is a plus

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
