Position Summary:
We are actively seeking a passionate and qualified Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to serve students in the Annapolis, MD area for the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time position is ideal for an educator who is experienced in delivering specialized instruction to students with hearing impairments in both mainstream and self-contained educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students with hearing impairments

• Adapt curriculum and modify instructional strategies to meet individual needs

• Collaborate with general education teachers, interpreters, audiologists, and other service providers

• Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

• Facilitate communication between students, families, and school personnel

• Promote an inclusive and accessible learning environment

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field

• Valid Maryland teaching certification with Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement

• Prior experience in school-based settings strongly preferred

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is a plus

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
