Position Overview:
The DHH teacher will work with K–12 students across a variety of educational settings. You will collaborate with special education teams, families, and interpreters to create accessible learning environments and support student success in accordance with IEP goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing

Implement IEPs and assess student progress

Modify general education curriculum for accessibility

Provide consultation and training to school staff

Collaborate with audiologists, interpreters, and parents
Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field

Valid Maryland teaching credential with DHH endorsement (or eligibility)

Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Must pass fingerprinting and background checks
