Blazer Jobs is now hiring a qualified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for a full-time school-based position in the Annapolis area. This is an exciting opportunity to support students who are deaf or hard of hearing in an inclusive and collaborative educational environment. The role combines flexibility, mission-driven work, and a consistent school schedule—all while receiving 1:1 support from our Special Education Advisory Team made up of experienced educators.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct and consultative services to students with hearing impairments

Develop and help implement IEPs that align with each student’s goals

Collaborate with educational teams and families to support communication access

Deliver services across general education and specialized environments

Promote inclusion and provide training/support to classroom staff
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education
-
Active Maryland State Department of Education certification with DHH endorsement

School-based experience preferred, but clinical professionals are welcome

Strong communication and documentation skills

Ability to work well on a multidisciplinary team
