Compensation

Local: $49–$56/hour

Travel: $1,700–$1,978 weekly take-home (equivalent to $59–$69/hour)

Duties

Provide direct instruction and support to students with hearing impairments

Adapt and implement curriculum to meet individual needs and IEP goals

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to foster student growth

Utilize technology and assistive devices to support learning and communication

Monitor progress and maintain detailed records of student development
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field

State certification/licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Maryland (or ability to obtain)

Experience working in school settings preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills
