Teacher for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Annapolis, MD

Blazer Jobs is seeking a skilled DHH Teacher to provide specialized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing in Annapolis, MD. This is a full-time, school-based position offering competitive pay and a collaborative work environment.

Position Overview:

• Location: Annapolis, MD

• Dates: ASAP – End of School Year

• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

• Employment Type: Local W-2 or Travel Contract

• Pay Range: $57–$63/hour (based on experience and credentials)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students’ communication and educational needs

• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to support student achievement

• Maintain accurate documentation of services, assessments, and student progress

• Utilize specialized techniques, technology, and resources to promote student learning and communication

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or related field

• Certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing instruction or eligibility to obtain

• Experience working with deaf/hard of hearing students in a school setting preferred

• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
