Role Summary
As a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHHT), you will provide specialized instruction and support to students with hearing loss. You’ll work collaboratively with educators, service providers, and families to implement strategies and accommodations that support academic, communication, and social development.
Responsibilities
• Provide direct instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, interpreters, and related service providers
• Track and document student progress toward IEP goals
• Foster an inclusive and accessible learning environment
Requirements
• Valid Tennessee Department of Education teaching license with appropriate endorsement for Deaf/Hard of Hearing (required)
• Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and team collaboration skills

Local Contract
• Full-time, on-site in Nashville, TN
• Hourly pay: $40–$45+/hour, depending on experience
