Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with hearing impairments.
- Interpret audiograms to tailor educational approaches.
- Attend Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to ensure appropriate educational planning.
- Manage and support a caseload of students from PreK through 6th grade.
- Collaborate with educators and families to enhance student learning and communication.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Possession of an active Deaf and Hard of Hearing (D/HH) teaching license through the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
- Previous experience in Texas school settings preferred, demonstrating familiarity with state standards and student needs.
- Strong understanding of educational strategies and communication methods for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Location & Schedule:
- On-site position based in Dallas, Texas.
- Full-time or part-time options available, ranging from 21 to 35 hours per week.
- Minimum commitment of 3 days per week with 7-hour workdays.
- Contract duration from the start date until May 21, 2026.
