We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher to support students in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area. This full-time, school-based position (37.5 hours per week) follows the students based on their individual schedules. Role: Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher
Location: Chattanooga, TN area
Schedule: Full-time | 37.5 hours per week
Caseload: Follows students based on their individual school schedules
Compensation: $60 per hour (W2)
Responsibilities

Provide specialized instruction and support for students who are deaf or hard of hearing

Adapt and implement curriculum to meet students’ communication and learning needs

Collaborate with general education teachers, interpreters, and support staff

Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals

Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance documentation

Foster an inclusive and accessible learning environment
Qualifications & Requirements

Active Tennessee Department of Education (DOE) Certification

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Commitment to supporting equitable educational access for students with hearing differences

Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing preferred
