DHH Teacher | Springfield, Tennessee
This full-time position requires an experienced Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to provide specialized educational support for K-12 students in a vibrant school district located in the Nashville area. The contract is for the current school year, with a start date as soon as possible and ending May 20, 2026. This role is on-site only, with no remote or hybrid options available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing across K-12 grade levels.
- Develop and implement educational plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student learning and integration.
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices.
Qualifications:
- Active Tennessee Department of Education teaching license with endorsement in Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
- Proven experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing, ideally in K-12 settings.

- Ability to manage a variable caseload with flexible, student-centered service delivery.
Location & Schedule:
- Position based in schools within the Nashville area.
- Full-time commitment of 35 to 37.5 hours per week.
