Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Traveling Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to work with students across multiple school sites in Georgia for the 2025–2026 school year. This itinerant position will provide specialized instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, collaborating with general and special education staff to ensure each student’s educational needs are met.

Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Traveling Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to work with students across multiple school sites in Georgia for the 2025–2026 school year. This itinerant position will provide specialized instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, collaborating with general and special education staff to ensure each student’s educational needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Travel between assigned school sites to provide direct instruction and support services to DHH students.
- Adapt and deliver instructional materials to meet students’ individual needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, interpreters, parents, and other service providers.
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining compliance with IEP goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development.
- Advocate for the needs of DHH students within the school setting.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field (required).
- Valid Georgia teaching certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (or ability to obtain).
- Previous experience working with DHH students (school-based experience preferred).
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel between multiple school sites.
- Contracted through ProCare Therapy for the 2025–2026 school year.
