Pay Rate: $45–$53 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Soliant Education is seeking two qualified Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teachers to join our team for full-time itinerant K–12 positions in the Baltimore, MD area. This is a contract position for the 2025–2026 school year.
Job Responsibilities:

Provide direct instructional services to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across multiple school sites

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Collaborate with general education teachers, interpreters, and support staff

Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
-
Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and staff development activities
-
Travel between school locations as needed (mileage reimbursement may apply)
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Deaf Education or related field

Valid Maryland state teaching certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education (or eligibility to obtain)

Experience with K–12 student populations

Strong communication and organizational skills
-
Ability to work onsite and travel within the district
