Job specifics:

  • Full-time

  • Dates: August 27, 2025 – June 16, 2026

  • Schedule: Full-time | Follows school bell hours/calendar

  • Caseload: K-12| 1-1 students

  • Compensation: Equivalent to $55/hour including tax-free stipends

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (state-specific licensure required).

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or other communication methods used by DHH students.

  • Experience working with students with hearing impairments in an educational setting.

  • Knowledge of IEP development and implementation.

  • Familiarity with assistive technology and accommodations for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
