DHH Teacher | Cambridge, Massachusetts
A full-time position is available for a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to provide specialized instructional support for students with hearing impairments. This contract role is onsite in Cambridge, MA, serving one school and carrying a typical caseload of TDHH responsibilities throughout the current school year.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored educational programs for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and support staff to meet student needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as necessary
- Maintain accurate records and comply with applicable policies and regulations
- Participate in meetings and professional development relevant to TDHH services
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) licensure
- Experience working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage full-time caseload and maintain thorough documentation
