Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) – Buffalo, WY

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to join a supportive school district in Buffalo, WY. This full-time opportunity is perfect for an educator passionate about providing specialized instruction to students with hearing impairments in a structured and inclusive learning environment.

Position Details:

Location: Buffalo, WY
Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Caseload: K-12 students (specific details discussed during the interview)
Setting: Onsite

Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative services to students with hearing impairments
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Adapt and modify curriculum to support language and communication development
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to enhance student learning
Utilize assistive technology and communication tools to maximize accessibility

Qualifications:

Active Wyoming DHH certification or eligibility
Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing preferred
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is a plus
