Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) | Peyton, Colorado
A full-time teaching opportunity is available for a qualified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to support K-12 students in the Colorado Springs area. This contract role will begin as soon as possible and continue through the end of the current school year, requiring 35 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services tailored to the needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Manage cases to ensure coordinated support and progress
- Track and document student progress to inform instructional strategies and interventions
Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado state licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
- Experience working with students across K-12 grade levels preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage caseloads and collaborate with educational teams
Location:
- Position is based in the Colorado Springs area, serving K-12 students within local schools
