Position: Full-Time or Part-Time, Onsite

Hours: 21–35 hours/week (7-hour days; minimum 3 days/week, up to 5)
Overview:
We are seeking an onsite Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHHT) to support one campus. This itinerant role serves students from Pre-K through 6th grade and focuses on evaluations, caseload management, and participation in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings. This position is onsite only and not open to virtual services.
Responsibilities:

Complete evaluations for students who are deaf or hard of hearing

Manage a caseload of PreK–6th grade students

Attend and participate in ARD meetings

Read and interpret audiograms

Collaborate with school staff and related service providers

Provide recommendations and support based on student needs
Qualifications:
-
Deaf and Hard of Hearing (D/HH) Teaching License through the Texas Education Agency (TEA)

Previous Texas school-based experience preferred
-
Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
