Blazer Jobs is seeking a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for a full-time, on-site contract with a school district in Chattanooga, TN, for the 2025–2026 school year. This role is ideal for educators who are committed to ensuring students with hearing impairments reach their full potential.

Responsibilities
-
Provide individualized and group instruction for students with hearing impairments
-
Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and interpreters to support student learning
-
Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs
-
Maintain accurate student progress records
-
Adapt lessons to meet diverse communication needs
Requirements
-
Valid Tennessee teaching certification with DHH endorsement (or eligibility)
-
Previous experience in a school setting preferred
-
Proficiency in ASL and/or auditory-verbal methods beneficial
-
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
