Position: Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Hours: Full time, onsite
Location: Position is near Chattanooga, TN
School Year: 2025/2026
Pay Range: Contractors are compensated weekly at an hourly rate, with pay ranges determined by state, location, and experience/education. Hourly compensation for our Special Education Teachers ranges from $35 to $48 an hour.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to provide inclusive learning opportunities.
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual student goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district guidelines.
- Provide ongoing communication and support to students and families.
Qualifications:
- Valid Tennessee Special Education teaching certification with Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of hearing Endorsement
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Reliable Transportation
