ProCare Therapy is seeking a full-time Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) for the 2025–2026 school year in the Hamilton County School District. In this role, you’ll support K–12 students with hearing impairments, helping them access the general curriculum, develop communication skills, and succeed academically and socially.

Position Details

Role: Full-Time DHH Teacher
-
Location: Hamilton County School District, Chattanooga Area
-
Schedule: 35–37.5 hours/week (full-time)
-
Start Date: ASAP
-
End Date: May 21, 2026

Assignment: Itinerant; the teacher follows students across schools based on their schedules
-
On-site Requirement: On-site only (no VOCO or hybrid)
Requirements
-
Active TN DOE Certification for DHH
-
Experience teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing preferred
-
Ability to work collaboratively with general education teachers, support staff, and families

Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct instruction and support for students who are deaf or hard of hearing

Follow students across multiple school sites based on their schedules

Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Support language, communication, and academic development in alignment with district goals
