We are seeking a passionate Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to join a school-based team in Chattanooga, TN for the current school year. This role is ideal for an educator who is committed to supporting students with hearing impairments in achieving academic and social success.

Position Details:

Full-time, school-based

Provide direct and consultative services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing

Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet student needs

Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure accessibility and inclusion

Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field

Active Tennessee Teaching Certification with DHH endorsement (or eligibility)

Knowledge of ASL and Deaf culture preferred
-
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
