Tennessee Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Soliant is seeking an experienced and student-focused Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Specialist to provide direct and consultative services to students across multiple school sites. This role will follow student schedules, ensuring services are delivered in alignment with each learner’s individual needs and educational plan.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct instructional and/or support services to DHH students across designated campuses.

Travel between schools based on student schedules and service minutes.

Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and administrators to support inclusive practices and student learning.

Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal development, and maintain accurate documentation.

Offer consultative support to staff regarding accommodations, communication access, and instructional strategies.

Monitor student progress and adjust services as needed.
Required Qualifications:

Active Tennessee Department of Education (TN DOE) Certification.

Prior experience working with DHH students preferred.

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently across multiple school environments.
