Blazer Jobs is seeking a full-time Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to provide onsite services following students’ schedules throughout the school day. This role focuses on ensuring consistent communication access and instructional support for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Job Responsibilities:

Provide direct instructional and consultative services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing

Follow student schedules to deliver services across settings

Implement IEP goals, accommodations, and communication strategies

Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, and related service providers

Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

Participate in IEP meetings and student support planning
Qualifications:

Active TN DOE certification required

Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing preferred

Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Ability to work onsite full-time
