ProCare Therapy is currently hiring Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to serve K–12 students throughout Virginia for the 2025–2026 school year. We partner with public and charter schools statewide to ensure every student who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing receives the individualized instruction and access they deserve.

Position Details
Locations: Opportunities available across the state, including Richmond, Virginia Beach, Fairfax, Roanoke, and surrounding districts
Schedule: Full-time and part-time options available
Employment Type: W-2 contract for the 2025–2026 academic year
Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly direct deposit
Contract Renewal: Option to extend based on district needs and performance
Qualifications
- 
	Valid Virginia Teaching License with a Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement (or eligibility to obtain) 
- 
	Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) 
- 
	Experience supporting DHH students (K–12 preferred) 
- 
	Knowledge of IEP development and assistive technology 
- 
	Strong collaboration and communication skills 
Responsibilities
- 
	Deliver specialized instruction for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing 
- 
	Collaborate with general educators, interpreters, and related service providers 
- 
	Develop and manage IEPs aligned with student needs 
- 
	Incorporate assistive technology and visual supports to enhance learning 
- 
	Encourage communication development, independence, and inclusion
