Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing - Chesapeake, VA
Blazer Jobs is seeking a full-time Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to support a small elementary caseload. This onsite role provides direct instructional and communication support to students in a centralized setting.
Job Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction and consultative services to K–5 students who are deaf or hard of hearing

Implement IEP goals, accommodations, and communication strategies

Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, and related service providers

Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
-
Participate in IEP meetings and student support planning
Qualifications:

Active VA DOE certification required (provisional accepted)
-
Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
-
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Ability to work onsite full-time
