Compensation Packages

Responsibilities

Deliver specialized instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet student needs

Collaborate with general education teachers, interpreters, and support staff

Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with IDEA requirements

Monitor and document student progress

Support families in fostering communication and academic growth
Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field

Tennessee certification (or eligibility) as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

School-based experience preferred

Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families
