ProCare Therapy is looking for dedicated Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to support K–12 students throughout Tennessee for the 2025–2026 school year. We collaborate with school districts across the state to place passionate educators who provide individualized instruction and promote academic and social success for DHH learners.

Position Details

Locations: Openings statewide including Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga, Knoxville, and surrounding areas

Schedule: Full-time and part-time opportunities available

Employment Type: W-2 contract for the 2025–2026 academic year

Compensation: Competitive hourly pay with weekly direct deposit

Contract Renewal: Strong potential for extension based on district needs and performance
Qualifications
-
Valid Tennessee Department of Education teaching license with Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement, or eligibility to obtain

Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)

Experience working with DHH students preferred (K–12)

Familiarity with IEP development, assistive technology, and accessible instructional strategies

Ability to meet all district and state hiring requirements
Responsibilities

Provide individualized instruction tailored to the needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students

Collaborate with general education staff, interpreters, and specialists

Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs aligned with student goals

Utilize assistive technology and accommodations to ensure access to curriculum

Foster self-advocacy, communication skills, and academic progress
