Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHHT) Job Opening
Blazer Jobs, in partnership with a school district in Coal Center, PA, is seeking a full-time Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHHT) for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a school-based position working with students requiring specialized instruction and communication support related to hearing impairments.
Responsibilities:

Provide individualized and group instruction to DHH students

Collaborate with general education staff and families

Support IEP development and implementation
-
Utilize assistive technology and communication methods (e.g., sign language)

Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
Qualifications:

Active Pennsylvania DHHT certification
-
Knowledge of auditory equipment and classroom accommodations
-
Strong communication and collaboration skills
-
Experience in a school setting preferred
