Blazer Jobs is working with a partnered school district in Coal Center, PA to hire a full-time Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for the current school year. This is an onsite position serving a K–12 caseload with multiple ages, offering stability, strong district support, and a professional environment where your expertise is valued.
Position Details
Dates: ASAP – June 16, 2026
Schedule: Full Time | 37.5 hrs/week | Monday–Friday
Setting: Onsite only
Caseload: K–12 (varied ages)
Compensation: $40–$42/hour (based on experience)
Renewal: Possible for 2026–2027 based on performance and district needs
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across grade levels.

Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, and related service providers.

Develop and implement appropriate IEP goals and accommodations.

Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and communication with families.

Support accessibility and ensure students have appropriate auditory and assistive technology resources.
State Requirements

Active DHH license
-
Active Pennsylvania Teaching License

Ability to work onsite for the full assignment
