A full-time teaching position is available for a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade in Fayette County, PA. This contract role is scheduled from ASAP through June 16, 2026, providing dedicated support and specialized instruction to meet the educational needs of students with hearing impairments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction and support to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students across K-12 grades
- Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Utilize specialized teaching strategies to enhance communication and learning outcomes
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in ongoing professional development
Qualifications:
- Active Educator Certification for Deaf / Hard of Hearing (DHHT)
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of specialized instruction techniques for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing population
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work onsite full-time

- Fayette County, Pennsylvania
- Onsite full-time position with 37.5 hours per week
