Requirements

Valid Pennsylvania DHH teaching certification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field

Ability to meet all state and local employment requirements

School-based experience preferred

Must pass background checks and obtain required clearances
Responsibilities

Provide direct instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing

Collaborate with special education teams, general education teachers, and related service providers

Develop and implement IEP goals aligned with student needs

Support communication access and language development

Monitor and document student progress
