Location: Dallas, TX
Type: Contract, On-site only
Schedule: Full-time or part-time (21-35 hours per week), minimum 3 days per week with 7-hour days
Assignment Duration: Immediate start through May 21, 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across Pre-K to 6th grade
- Complete evaluations and assessments specific to the students’ needs
- Attend Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings for individualized education planning
- Interpret audiograms and incorporate findings into student learning plans
- Manage a caseload of students while collaborating with school staff and families
Required Qualifications:
- Active Deaf/Hard of Hearing Teaching License through the Texas Education Agency (TEA)
- Experience working in Texas school-based settings preferred
- Ability to complete fingerprint clearance as required for school district credentialing
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, parents, and team members
