ProCare Therapy is seeking dedicated Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to support K–12 students across Texas for the 2025–2026 school year. We partner with public and charter schools statewide to match skilled educators with meaningful opportunities to help Deaf and Hard of Hearing learners succeed academically and socially.
Whether you’re an experienced DHH teacher or new to the field, we’ll help you find a position that aligns with your experience and preferred community — from major cities like Dallas and Houston to smaller districts across Central and West Texas.

Position Details
Locations: Openings across Texas, including Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and surrounding areas
Schedule: Full-time and part-time options available
Employment Type: W-2 contract for the 2025–2026 academic year
Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly direct deposit
Contract Renewal: Opportunities for renewal based on district needs and performance
Qualifications

Valid Texas Educator Certificate with a Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement (or eligibility to obtain)

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)

Experience working with DHH students (K–12 preferred)

Knowledge of IEP development, assistive technology, and inclusive instruction

Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities

Provide individualized instruction and support for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

Collaborate with general education teachers, interpreters, and related service providers

Develop and monitor IEPs that reflect each student’s goals and needs

Use assistive technologies and accommodations to improve classroom access

Encourage language development, communication skills, and independence
