Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative instruction for students with hearing impairments
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to ensure accessibility and inclusion
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Support the use of assistive technology and communication tools
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Master’s Degree in Education for Teaching Deaf Students
- Active Texas Teaching Certification in Deaf Education
- Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing (preferred)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to travel between school sites (itinerant schedule)
- Must be able to pass background and fingerprint checks
