Sunbelt Staffing is hiring a passionate Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) to support students in the Denver, CO area. This position offers the opportunity to positively impact students’ communication and academic success by providing specialized instructional support and collaborating with school teams.
Position Details

Location: Near Denver, CO

Schedule: Full-time, school-based (part-time may be considered)

Caseload: Assigned based on district needs (K–12 students)
Responsibilities
-
Provide direct and consultative services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Support the development of language, listening, and communication skills.
-
Adapt and modify curriculum to meet students’ individual needs.

Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and related service providers.
-
Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with IDEA and district requirements.

Maintain accurate student records and progress monitoring data.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field.
-
Colorado state certification/licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
-
Prior school-based experience preferred, but not required.
