ProCare Therapy is now hiring dedicated Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for the 2025–2026 school year across Colorado. We are looking for professionals who are committed to equitable education and creating supportive learning environments for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

Position Details

Locations: Openings throughout the state including Denver, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Grand Junction, Pueblo, and surrounding areas

Schedule: Full-time and part-time opportunities available

Employment Type: W-2 contract for the 2025–2026 academic year

Compensation: Competitive hourly pay with weekly direct deposit

Contract Renewal: High likelihood of extension based on district needs and performance
Candidate Requirements
-
Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license with a Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement, or eligibility to obtain
-
Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)

Experience working with students in K–12 settings is preferred
-
Strong understanding of IEP processes, assistive technology, and inclusive instructional strategies

Ability to meet all local and state employment requirements
Key Responsibilities

Deliver individualized instruction tailored to DHH students’ needs

Collaborate with general educators, interpreters, and support staff
-
Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state guidelines
-
Encourage the development of communication, self-advocacy, and academic skills
-
Support inclusive practices that reflect language and cultural diversity
