Sunbelt is seeking a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher in Federal Heights, CO area. This is a full-time position for this school year.
Job Qualifications:

Valid state teaching credential with endorsement in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education

Bachelor's degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred)

Proficiency in communication modalities used by students (e.g., American Sign Language, spoken language, cued speech), depending on program philosophy
- Will be traveling to multiple school sites.

Provide specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, using appropriate communication methods (e.g., sign language, spoken language, assistive technology) tailored to individual needs and IEP goals.

Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to create inclusive learning environments and ensure access to the full curriculum.

Assess students’ language, communication, and academic skills, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) to support their growth and educational success.
