Denver, CO Now Hiring Voice Advocate: Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) SY 2025/2026
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Teachers of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) for a rewarding opportunity with school districts in the Denver, CO area. This is a contract position with the possibility of renewal based on performance and district needs.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:

Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Service Provider License with an endorsement in Deaf/Hard of Hearing.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or a related field.
-
Strong knowledge of audiology, hearing technologies, communication modalities, and language development.
-
Previous experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing preferred.
-
CPR and First Aid certification (hard copy required).
-
Ability to pass state and federal background checks.
Responsibilities:
-
Provide direct and consultative instructional services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals.
-
Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, parents, and related service providers to support student success.
-
Adapt curriculum and instruction to meet diverse communication needs, including American Sign Language (ASL), oral communication, cued speech, or other modalities.

Monitor and track student progress through assessments and data collection.
-
Train and support school staff on strategies to create inclusive learning environments.
-
Promote self-advocacy, independence, and communication skills for students.
Contract Term:

Full-time, 2025–2026 School Year (with renewal opportunities based on performance).
